COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to implement the order of the fourth respondent passed in Na.Ka.No.1765 of 2007, dated 02.04.2008, under the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Industrial and Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981, and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioners in the first respondent Corporation as permanent employees based on their representation dated 25.04.2015 with all consequential and other attendant benefits.

2. Mr.R.Lakshmi Narayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

3. Although the petitioners sought for a direction as stated above, when the matter was taken up, learned counsel for the petitioners sought for a limited prayer in seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 25.04.2015 in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.Nos.7368 to 7370 of 2011 etc., dated 31.03.2011.

4. Considering the limited prayer of the petitioners, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioners' representation dated 25.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
