Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2021 and grant parole for 30 days to the petitioner's husband namely Sridhar Reddy (Convict Prisoner) aged 41 years, now confined in the Central Prison, Vellore, before this Court and further direct the respondents to consider him immediately for the parole and for consequently orders.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2021 and grant parole for 30 days to her husband viz. Sridhar Reddy (Convict Prisoner), who is confined in Central Prison, Vellore.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondents.
3. At the outset, this Writ Petition seeking leave for 30 days to the Convict Prisoner Sridhar Reddy, is not maintainable inasmuch as the appeal of Sridhar Reddy in Crl.A.No.34 of 2019, is pending before this Court. Only when the appellate remedies are exhausted, the convict prisoner can seek benefits under the Tamil Nadu Suspension of Sentence Rules, 1982.
4. That apart, we have granted interim bail to the Convict Prisoner Sridhar Reddy in Crl.M.P.No.6023 of 2021 in Crl.A.No.34 of 2019 on 04.06.2021, for the purpose of attending his mother's death ceremony till 25.06.2021.
5. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
