Petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondents to dispose of his representation dated 26.02.2021.

According to the Petitioner, aged 97 years, he had obtained State Freedom Fighters Pension on 29.04.2016 vide Pension Order No.14126 and that, he had never obtained Freedom Fighters Pension from the Central Government. In respect of his grievance, the Petitioner has sent a representation dated 26.02.2021 to the Respondents. As there is no action on the same, the Petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court expects the State Government to scrutinize the records in respect of the Petitioner and forward the same to the 1st Respondent herein within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such communication, the 1st Respondent is expected to decide the issue within a period of one month.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P.No.13646 of 2021 is closed.
