This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 15.06.2015.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.
3. It is seen that this complaint has been given to the Superintendent of Police with a copy marked to the Inspector of Police under Section 154 Cr.P.C. The complaint should have to be given before the jurisdictional police and only if the Station House Officer refuses to register a case, can the complainant approach the Superintendent of Police by giving a complaint by post.
4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give fresh complaint in person to the Inspector of Police, Chithamoor Police Station and on such complaint being given, the Inspector of Police, Chithamoor Police Station is directed to enquire the same and take action in accordance with law.
