By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner would state that he was permanently residing at Door No.546, Kattukottagai, Pottiyam Village and Post, Chinnasalem Taluk, Villupuram District, and submitted an application dated 5.11.2011, to the second respondent for issuance of a Family Card and along with the application, has also enclosed all necessary documents; however, the respondents did not process the same and therefore, the petitioner has sent a reminder dated 1.7.2015, and since he has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation/application dated 5.12.2011, and also the reminder dated 1.7.2015, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
