Respondents/Complainant PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to direct the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of cases Registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Villupuram to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day in the event of his surrender in connection with Crime No.120 of 2021 on the file of the second respondent police.
Order :This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.R.Balaguruswamy, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.A.Damodharan,Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) for the Respondent and perusing the order dated 07.06.2021,this Court made the following order:- Since the learned counsel for the petitioner wrongly mentioned the name of the trial Court, the petitioner is unable to comply with the order of this Court dated 07.06.2021.
2. To rectify the name of the trial Court, Crl.M.P.No.7075 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.9936 of 2021 is filed and the same is ordered today.
3. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to surrender before the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Villupuram, on or https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
before 09.08.2021 and on such surrender, the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases Registered under SC/ST (POA) Act, Villupuram, shall deal with the mater on the same day on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the victims under Section 15-A (3) of the SC/ST Act.
4. It is made clear that no further extension of time would be granted.
