PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to receive the petitioner's application Form CCPA dated 01.2.2017 together with prescribed fees and grant the share auto rickshaw permit in respect of the vehicle bearing Regn.No.TN-20-H-4622 forthwith.

ORDER
Mr.C.Jagadish, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent. Heard both. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner's application for share auto permit is pending, the same has not yet been considered in spite of the Government of Tamil Nadu issuing directions that each district head quarters Regional Transport Office can grant 50 permits.
3. The learned Special Government Pleader submits that the respondent may be directed to consider the application of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to receive the application of the petitioner dated 01.2.2017, consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
