By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioners are the revision petitioners 11 and 12 before the 1st respondent and the revision petitioners numbering 15

made a challenge to the order dated 08.10.2014, passed by the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent vide order dated 08.10.2014 has cancelled the patta and the revision petitioners challenging the legality of the said order, has filed the above said revision before the 1st respondent and pending disposal of the same, has also prayed for stay of the operation of the above said order.

Mr.K.Elango, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has drawn the attention of this Court to the typed set of documents and would submit that the 3rd respondent inspite of the pendency of the revision petition, is taking emergent steps to implement the order dated 08.10.2014 passed by the 2nd respondent and though, the petitioners herein as well as the other revision petitioners had prayed for stay of the said order, pending disposal of the said revision, the 1st respondent is neither passing the order in the petition for stay nor passing final orders in the main revision petition and hence, prays for appropriate orders.

4. This Court, heard the submissions of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondent 1 to 3.

This Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances, directs the 1st respondent, either to dispose of the petition for stay filed by the revision petitioners within a period of two weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order or dispose of the main revision petition itself, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and in the interregnum, directs all the revision petitioners as well as the respondents to maintain status-quo, as it exists today. It is also made clear that till the disposal of the revision petition, the revision petitioners as well as the 4th respondent shall not create any third party rights in respect of the properties in question.
