Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is due to retire on 30.06.2016 and hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and hence, he may be permitted to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. In view of the above submission and endorsement made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
