This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.188 of 2015 on the file of learned Principal and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore District.

2. The petitioners, who are arrayed as A1 and A2, are facing trial for the alleged offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) IPC r/w 3(1) (x) S.C/S.T. Act 1989 in S.C.No.188 of 2015 on the file of learned Principal and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore District.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that trial has commenced in S.C.No.188 of 2015 and still the examination of the witnesses has not yet been completed and thus he, prays for dismissal of this petition.

4. Since the trial has commenced in S.C.No.188 of 2015 and still the examination of the witnesses has not yet been completed, this Court cannot give any direction as prayed for by the petitioner. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed. The learned Principal and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore District is directed to complete the trial and dispose the case in S.C.No.188 of 2015 as early as possible.
