ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 3 rd and 4 th respondents to take steps to conduct public auction for cutting down trees based on the representation made by the petitioner on 18.10.2024. 2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondents 2 to 5 produced the written instructions received from the Inspector of HR & CE Department and the relevant portion is extracted hereunder:

4/6 3.It is clear from the above that already steps have been taken by the HR & CE Department to get the permission from the Forest Department and to conduct public auction for the purpose of felling the trees. 4.Recording the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent to complete the process by getting the appropriate permission, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No Costs.
