By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that he is residing in Old Door No.17, New Door No.14, Vaikundavasa Perumal Koil Street, Villupuram, for more than 45 years and is paying the rent regularly to the second respondent temple without any default and the property tax as well as water tax assessments also stand in his name. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The grievance now expressed by the petitioner, is that in the registers maintained by the temple, in respect of the said property, the name of the third wife of his father viz. R.Malliga, the third respondent herein, has been wrongly entered and in this regard, he has submitted a representation dated 4.7.2015, to the second respondent to rectify the mistake and though it was acknowledged on 7.7.2015, he has not been favoured with any kind of response and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. 5.

This Court, without going into the merits of the representation, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 4.7.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the third respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the third respondent. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
