ORDER

The petitioner submitted a representation on 10.06.2025 to the Block Development Officer to cancel the property tax assessment in the name of one G.Ramalingam and to instead assess property tax in the name of the petitioner. The said G.Ramalingam has not been arrayed as a party in this writ petition.

2. The Block Development Officer and the other official respondents in this writ petition cannot adjudicate on the rival title claim between the petitioner and the above mentioned G.Ramalingam. Any such dispute should be carried to the jurisdictional civil Court. By leaving it open to the petitioner to initiate appropriate proceedings before the jurisdictional civil Court, this writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs. 11.06.2026 Index: Yes/No mmi To
