The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to pay the petitioner's share of the compensation amount payable in connection with acquisition of land comprised in S.No.119/6C measuring A.C.01.24 cents (0.50.0 ares) situated in Mannargudi Village, Kattumannar Koil Taluk, Cuddalore District, which belonged to the petitioner's mother Vijayalakshmi (since deceased), directly to the writ petitioner.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that, as a legal heir, she is entitled for the compensation in respect of the land belongs to her family, acquired by the Government.

3. The writ petitioner made a claim to disburse the compensation amount and an enquiry was conducted by the Special Tahsildar (Land Acquisition), Kattumannar Koil, Cuddalore District, who in turn has informed the writ petitioner that they have to produce necessary Legal Heir Certificate and other connected documents for the purpose of disbursing the compensation to the writ petitioner.

4. It is needless to state that in the event of the death of the original owner, the legal heirs are bound to submit all the relevant documents, including the Legal Heir Certificate for the purpose of claiming the compensation amount. Thus, the writ petitioner has to submit all necessary documents sought for by the competent authority for the purpose of disbursing the compensation amount.

5. In this view of the matter, the writ petitioner is at liberty to submit all necessary documents and on production of all such documents, the respondents shall consider the same and disburse the compensation amount by following the procedures contemplated.

6. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Sd/-- Assistant Registrar(CS II) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar
