O R D E R
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.05.2022 for the alleged offence under Sections 363, 365, 457, 380 of IPC altered into one under Section 302, 120(b), 457, 392, 302 (2 counts) of IPC on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 1/4
2. This petition is the petitioner's sixth bail petition. On 25.09.2025, this Court called for the report from the IV Additional Sessions Court, Chennai regarding the stage of the case in connection with S.C.No.430 of 2022 . Today, report has been received from the concerned Court and placed before me and in which, the leaned Sessions Judge has given the following remarks:
'' I further submit that out of 64 witnesses cited in the charge sheet 41 witnesses were examined. Now, this case is posted for examination of other witnesses like LW 46, LW 50 and LW51. As some of the witnesses are not knowing Tamil Language, steps are being taken for the nomination of Telugu Translator. In this case, 11 official witnesses are come from the State of Andhra Pradesh. In the said circumstances, the trial of the case is not able to be completed.
I humbly further submit that as per Hon'ble High Court's C.O.Lr.No.495 of 2025 dated 06.10.2025, the stage of this case is examination of other witnesses like LW 46, LW50 and LW51".

Considering the above fact that only few witnesses have yet to be examined and the trial process is going on and the same is likely to be concluded at the earliest, I am of the view that granting bail at this stage will stall the trial process. Hence, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 22.10.2025 Vv To
