Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides.

3. Basing reliance upon the partition deed dated 20.07.1987, followed by the sale deed dated 11.05.2011 and enclosing the orders passed by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and the corporation of Chennai, the petitioner has applied for issuance of Patta, before the second respondent, for the property bearing Door No.25 (Old No.62), Somasundara Vinayagar Kovil Street, 1st Lane, Sembium, Chennai - 11, Block No.8, comprised in Cherri-Nattham Survey No.28, T.S.No.24, to an extent of 520 sq.ft., Since the patta was not issued, the petitioner has made a representation before the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent on 11.11.2013. As no order has been passed forthcoming, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition.

This Court, taking into consideration the pendency of the representation filed by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, hereby directs the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 11.11.2013, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the other parties concerned, if any.

5. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
