Prayer: : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ or order or Direction more fully in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 06.05.2010 and to permit the petitioner to perform our rights in the Temple Festival such as lifting of Kodimaram, lifting of Paghai and performing Siruthondar Nayanar Drama on the days of Mariamman Temple festival T.Vallavettikuppam Village.

ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.05.2010 and to permit the petitioner to perform his rights in the temple festival. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties. consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2010, this Court is of the view that a direction can be given to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2010.

3.Accordingly, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.05.2010 on merits and in accordance with law , after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
