...RESPONDENTS Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents herein to consider the petitioner's claim of fixing the ratio 2:1 between the promotees and direct recruits in the post of Physical Director Grade-1 for the appointment of District Inspector of Physical Education as per the representations dated 16.03.2015 and 06.06.2015.

The petitioner is working as Physical Director Grade I. He was promoted from Physical Director Grade II. According to him, the post of District Inspector of Physical Education is filled up only from the Physical Director Grade I who are directly recruited to the post and no promotees are considered for the same. It is further stated that the petitioner is holding the post of District Inspector of Physical Education in charge.

In these circumstances, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to make a representation setting out the aforesaid grievance to the 1st respondent and the 1st respondent could be directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law.

In these circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make a representation to the 1st respondent setting out his grievance as to non consideration of the promotee Physical Director Grade I for the post of District Inspector of Physical Education, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on receipt of the same, the 1st respondent is directed to dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
