The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on his family card application dated 16.08.2016 on merits by considering the documents submitted by him.

According to the petitioner, pursuant to his marriage, he applied before the concerned authorities to remove his name from the Family Card No.18/G/0624294 issued to his father and that his wife had also applied before the authorities concerned to remove her name from her father's Family Card No.12/W/0077779. Thereafter, the petitioner made an application to the 2nd respondent on 16.08.2016 to issue a Family Card to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

his family consisting of himself, his wife and his daughter. It is his grievance that despite approaching the 2nd respondent on several occasions, no orders were passed on his application. Hence, he is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.08.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
