Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representation dated 20.06.2017 of the petitioner based on the direction issued by 2nd respondent on 07.06.2017 in respect of land in S.No.15/3B1 in M.Parur Village, Virudhachalam Taluk in the joint names of the petitioner and Ramasamy and to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner.

Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 20.06.2017 based on the direction issued by 2nd respondent on 07.06.2017 in respect of land in S.No.15/3B1 in M.Parur Village, Virudhachalam Taluk in the Joint names of the petitioner and Ramasamy and to issue Patta in the name of the petitioner within a time frame.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2017, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
