O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order dated 26.04.2022 passed by the first respondent and Circular dated 26.04.2022, in respect of the promotion and appointment of the 2nd respondent as Stadium Officer and direct the first respondent to promote and appoint the petitioner with all attendant benefits.

Even though the petitioner has sought for quashing of the impugned order, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would be appropriate that the petitioner be granted liberty to give a fresh consolidated representation, with a consequential direction to the first respondent herein, to consider the same.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, liberty is granted to the petitioner to give a fresh 2/4

representation to the first respondent herein, ventilating his grievance. On receipt of the same, the first respondent shall consider it on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner and that it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the same on its own merits.

4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
