By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioners would submit that they had succeeded to the estate of their mother Indiraniammal in respect of the lands in S.No.291/8, Kannapalayam Village, Poonthamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District and Patta No.484 was issued in favour of the petitioners on 09.04.2006 along with one Loganathan. petitioners is that a sub-division came to be effected without notice to them and a separate patta was issued subdividing S.No.291/8 into S.Nos.291/8A1C, 291/8A1B and 291/8A1D and names of the new purchasers, namely B.Loganathan, B.Ramachandran and B.Vijayakumar have been shown and the names of the petitioners have been completely left out.

The petitioners, in this regard, submitted a representation dated 27.09.2014 to the first respondent, followed by a reminder dated 14.01.2015 and since no orders have been passed on the said representations, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.M.Digvijayapandian, learned Additional Govt. Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the petitioners' representations, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 27.09.2014 and 14.01.2015, after putting on notice the petitioners as well as respondents 3 to 5 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as respondents 3 to 5.
