Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the respondents police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property on basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 14.03.2025 given before the 2nd respondent.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents Police to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and property.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner owned property comprised in S.No.91/1B2A1 & 91/36 admeasuring 0.69 cents situated at Soorancheri Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District. While being so, the third respondent attempted to trespass into the petitioner's property and disturb his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. In this regard, a case has already been registered by the third respondent and is pending with the second respondent. Therefore, the dispute between the petitioner and the third respondent is civil in nature. However, the petitioner ought to have approach the Civil Court for appropriate relief.

4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
