This petition has been filed to restore the writ petition No.12220 of 2021 which has been dismissed for non prosecution.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to pandemic situation, the numbering of the writ petition has not been known to the petitioner and hence, he was not able to prosecute the writ petition. Non appearance of the petitioner was neither wilful now wanton and hence, prayed for restoring the writ petition which was dismissed for non prosecution.

3. Having regard to the nature of allegations in the affidavit filed along with this petition, this petition is allowed.

4. List the writ petition on 09.07.2021.
