ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order dated 09.11.2023, in and by which, the relief of compassionate appointment has been rejected to the petitioner. The petitioner's father died while he was in service in the year 1996. At that time, the petitioner was only four years old. Now, after the petitioner become major, after he acquired educational qualification, now, the request has been renewed. Since there has been efflux of long number of years and since the petitioner was only four years of age at the relevant point of time and since this question is whether the dependant, who is a minor, can file an application for compassionate appointment after attaining the age of majority after the period of three years as since settled by the Court which is against the petitioner. There is no point in entertaining the present writ petition.
2. In view thereof, the petitioner was four years old at the time of death of his father in the year 1996 and since in view of the efflux of long time, this Court is unable to grant any relief to the petitioner. Page No. 2 of 4
