ORDER

With the consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner claims to be the owner of the property in Survey Nos.229/4, 212/6, 212/7, 212/8 and 212/9 in Vellaiyur Village, Thalaivasal Taluk, Salem District, measuring 2.5 acres through a sale deed in Document Nos.1277 of 2003 and 1138 of 2008 and that the patta also stands in his name. It is his apprehension that the third respondent herein is now attempting to trespass into the land for the purpose of acquiring it.

3. It is needless to point out that in case the third respondent requires the land for any purpose, the same can be acquired only in accordance with law after affording due opportunity to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner's grievance is met.
