The prayer in the writ petition is for issuance of a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the promotion of the petitioner from the post of Extension Officer, Grade I, Special Grade to the post of Manager (Milk Production) .

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Bala Ramesh, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.T.K.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3.

3. In view of the narrow prayer made during the hearing of the writ petition, a direction is issued to the third respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings relating to charge memo dated 06.06.2013 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
