PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.67 of 2017 pending on the file of first Respondent Police and quash the same. For Petitioner : Mr.A.Suresh Sakthi Murugan For R1 : Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam Government Advocate (Criminal side)

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed calling for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.67 of 2017 pending on the file of first Respondent Police and to quash the same.

2. When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that the investigation in this case has been completed and the final report is filed in S.C.No.42 of 2020, on the file of the learned Additional District Judge, Virudhachalam.

3. In the light of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that the investigation has been completed and the final report is filed, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR in Crime No.67 of 2017. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
