ORDER

The petitioners have come up with this petition, seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioners under the guise of an enquiry except in a manner known to law.

2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in the anticipatory bail petition filed before this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22190 of 2015, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police has stated that neither a case is registered nor a petition enquiry is pending as against the petitioners and recording the same the anticipatory bail petition was closed by this Court vide order dated 02.09.2015. However, the respondent police is harassing the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent police will not harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed. It is also made clear that this order will not enure to the benefit of the petitioners, if they are involved in any cognizable offence.
