O R D E R
The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to allow the petitioners to write their examination of A-2017 batch scheduled to be conducted by May, 2019 in the third respondent institution.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are batch of students who studied in a study center attached with University of Madras and they were not permitted to sit for the examination during May, 2019 and hence they filed this writ petition.
3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the University of Madras submitted that already May, 2019 examination was conducted and further the study center where the petitioners joined itself was closed from 2019 onwards and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. 4.The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to allow them to write their examination of A-2017 batch during May, 2019 in the third respondent institution, however, the period itself is over, the study centre was closed from 2019 onwards and no direction could be issued to the respondents.
5.Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
