ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief. The petitioner seeks an early disposal of RLTOP No.28 of 2025, pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Tambaram.

2. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents in this civil revision petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with by this Court.

3. According to the petitioner, even though the respondents have been set exparte in RLTOP No.28 of 2025, the court below has not disposed of RLTOP No.28 of 2025 till date. The petitioner is the landlord and the respondents are the tenant. The petitioner also relies upon the provision of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Rights and Responsibilities of the Landlords and Tenants Act, 2017, which provides for expeditious disposal of the proceedings in the said act.

4. This Court, after giving due consideration to the year of the RLTOP filed by the petitioner and the fact that the respondents have been set exparte in the said proceedings, this Court, directs the trial court, Page No.2 of 4

namely, the District Munsif Court, Tambaram, to dispose of RLTOP No.28 of 2025, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the aforeasid direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
