By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner was initially appointed as Cook in the year 1981 and in 2011, he was promoted as Watchman and posted at Government Boys Hostel, Kallakurichi. Subsequently, by order dated 07.05.2013, the petitioner was transferred to Thirunavallur Government Boys Hostel. The petitioner joined duty on 08.05.2013 and was working in the said school till the passing of the impugned order. On 07.07.2015, the respondent passed the impugned order transferring the petitioner from Thirunavallur Government Boys Hostel to Aragadanallur Government Polytechnic College Boys Hostel.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was transferred to Aragadanallur Government Polytechnic College Boys Hostel within three years of his previous transfer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent would submit that the distance between Thirunavallur and Aragadanallur is only 35 kms and hence, the petitioner cannot have any grievance.

6. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, I am not inclined to interfere with the impugned order passed by the respondent. The writ petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
