/Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Miscellaneous Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to extend the time granted by this Court in Crl.M.P.No.4427 of 2020 in H.C.P.No.750 of 2020 dated 09.07.2020 by a further period of 20 days from 12.08.2020 to 01.09.2020.

the Central Prison, Vellore and to release him on 30 days leave on the basis of Petitioner representation, dated 03/05/2020. For Petitioner : Mr.A.P.Sathyamoorthy For Respondents : Mrs.M.Prabhavathi, Additional Public Prosecutor.
O R D E R
(Order of the court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN.J.,) The matter is heard through "Video Conferencing". 2.This Petition has been filed to extend the parole already granted by this Court, which ends on 12.08.2020. 3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
4.A perusal of the medical certificate dated 20.07.2020 would reveal that the wife of the convict, who is suffering from chronic cervicitis is taking treatment and she has to undergo surgery immediately.
5.In view of the above said position, this Court is inclined to extend the leave period for a further period of 21 days commencing from 12.08.2020 to 01.09.2020. Therefore, the leave already granted by order of this Court dated 09.07.2020 is extended till 01.09.2020. The Petitioner shall surrender before the Prison Authorities on 01.09.2020 at 5.00 p.m and he shall comply with the earlier conditions imposed by this Court. Accordingly, this Petition is ordered.
