This petition has been filed to modify the order dated 26.02.2024 made in CRP.No.892 of 2024 by extending the time to dispose of the OP.No.1320 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. While disposing the main case, this Court directed the Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the OP.No.1320 of 2023 within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, whereas, this petition is filed by the petitioner/1st respondent for extension of time.

4. Considering the materials available on record and the relief sought for, this Court had given a direction to the Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the OP.No.1320 of 2023 and it is for the Family Court to seek for extension of time, in case the trial is not completed within the stipulated period of time. The parties shall ensure that they cooperate for speedy disposal of the OP.
