ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 19.2.2025 and 24.12.2025.

2. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed the representations dated 19.2.2025 and 24.12.2025 before the 3rd respondent, requesting for grant of patta for the subject property. However, the said representations were not at all considered by the 3rd respondent till date. Hence, this petition.

5. In reply, the learned Government's counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 6 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.

6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, according to the petitioner, he is a land-less poor and belongs to Adi-Dravidar Community and hence, he is certainly entitled for the subject land, which falls under the category of "Anaadhenam". In such case, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.2.2025 and 24.12.2025 and after taking into consideration of the eligibility of the petitioner, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
