J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.) The claim of the respondent for incentive increment was rejected by the order impugned in the Writ Petition dated 04.11.2020. Upon challenge the Writ Court relied upon the judgment of a Single Judge in WP No.15624 and 15626 of 2020 dated 06.11.2023 and allowed the Writ Petition directing grant of increments within a period for six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

2. It is brought to our notice that an Appeal filed against the order in WP No.15624 of 2020 was also dismissed by a Division Bench on 03.06.2024. The order of the learned Single Judge relied upon by the Writ Court while disposing of WP No.7993 of 2021 has now been confirmed by the Division Bench.

3. Hence, we see no reason to interfere with the order of the Writ Court, the Writ Appeal fails and it is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
