ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 17.07.2020, to provide electricity connection to the petitioner's residential premises.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 21.08.2020, it was represented that for the purpose of providing electricity connection, an application has to be submitted through online. The petitioner has accordingly submitted an application through online on 18.08.2020, and the same has also been acknowledged by the first respondent.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to immediately act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 18.08.2020, and take a decision strictly in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
