O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to quash the check slip dated 15.03.2023 and consequently direct the respondent to register the sale deed dated 15.03.2023 executed by the petitioner.

2. The check slip reveals that the patta stands in the name of one Mr.Natarajadevar and therefore, the Sub Registrar has stated that the petitioner has to transfer the patta in his name or submit any other document to establish his title.

3. The Sub Registrar is exercising quasi judicial power under the provisions of the Statutes. Thus, the Sub Registrars are expected to apply their mind, while registering any document . Thus, the query raised by the Sub Registrar cannot be found fault with and it is for the petitioner to produce all the necessary documents.

4. After arguing the matter, the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the petitioner will approach the competent appellate authority for redressing his grievance. It is for the petitioner to resolve the issues in the manner known to law and the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he has chosen to withdraw the writ petition.

5. The Registry is directed to return the impugned order to the learned counsel on record, if it is filed.
