This revision is preferred against the order of learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Vanur passed in Crl.M.P.No.720 of 2016 on 18.08.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that an order of confiscation stands passed.

4. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the confiscation order has not been served upon him, while u/s.14(5) of the TNP Act, petitioner is required to file appeal against the order of confiscation before the (*)Sessions Court, Villupuram within a period of one month from the date of order. Learned counsel submits that pendency of the present revision https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before this court has resulted in the petitioner being made aware of the confiscation order only today. It is open to the petitioner to move an application for condonation of delay informing the reasons and we have no reason to doubt Court below will not consider the same on merits.

The Criminal Revision is dismissed with the above observation.
