PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of mandamus forbearing the Respondents, their men, agents, servants, nominees, contractors or any other person claiming through them from in any way putting up or seeking to put up any construction either temporary or permanent over the passage way to the northern side of the building admeasuring 0.90 Grounds comprised in S.No.4269/3, Mylapore Village, Chennai District allotted to the petitioner vide G.O.Ms.No.111, Public Works (H1) Department, dated 26.06.2009.

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to forbearing the Respondents, their men, agents, servants, nominees, contractors or any other person claiming through them from in any way putting up or seeking to put up any construction either temporary or permanent over the passage way to the northern side of the building admeasuring 0.90 Grounds comprised in S.No.4269/3, Mylapore Village, Chennai District allotted to the petitioner vide G.O.Ms.No.111, Public Works (H1) Department, dated 26.06.2009.

2.The learned Advocate General appearing on behalf of the respondents brought to the notice of this Court that the proposal of the Government for construction of Government building is dropped and the place is shifted. 3.Thus, the cause did not exist in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
