Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.01.2026. In view of the petitioners representations dated 23.03.2024 and 06.01.2026 to use the general pathway to the petitioners land situated in survey No. 109/5 in Jallothupatty, Salem Taluk, Salem District, with the aid of the second respondent, to give police protection to the petitioner and pass. Mr.A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader for R1 to R4 Order This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner representation dated 23.02024 and 06.01.2026 to use the general pathway to the petitioner's land situated in S.No.109/5 in Jallothupatty, Salem District with the aid of the 2nd respondent, to give police protection to the petitioner.

The grievance of the petitioner is that there was pathway dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 5 and 6, which culminated into lodging of police complaint and also to the revenue authorities on 14.07.2025 to take necessary action against the respondents 5 and 6. After registration of complaint, the 2nd respondent Police has not taken any action. Hence, the

petitioner initially sent representation to the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent in turn forwarded a letter dated 26.09.2025 to the 3rd respondent for appropriate action. The said letter was not implemented by the 3rd respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed the instant writ petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the 3rd respondent to implement the letter dated 26.09.2025, forwarded by the 4th respondent.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the letter sent by the 4th respondent will be implemented after providing opportunity to the petitioner within a stipulated time period.

5. Heard both sides and also perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner and further the fair submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to implement the letter sent by the 4th respondent dated 26.09.2025, after providing opportunity to all the necessary parties including the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
