This Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking direction to the learned IV Additional District Judge, Coimbatore, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.43 of 2020, at an early date.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, the petitioner is 81 years old senior citizen. He filed the suit in O.S.No.43 of 2020 against the respondent, claiming a sum of Rs.14,12,000/-, which the defendant was liable to pay on account of borrowal of a sum of Rs.12,00,000/-, as loan. Though the suit was filed in the year 2020, there was not much progress in the suit. The case history details shows that even the written statement has not been filed after 13 months. Therefore, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction to the learned IV Additional District Judge, Coimbatore, for the early disposal of this case. 4.

Admittedly, the petitioner is a senior citizen, the courts, shall give priority to dispose the case relating to the senior citizens, even without any direction from this Court. Considering the reasons stated, nature of the suit, age of the petitioner, this Court, directs the learned IV 2/4

Additional District Judge, Coimbatore, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.43 of 2020 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.

This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
