(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294 (b), 323, 307, 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.1255 of 2020, seek anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution as per the defacto complainant is that the petitioner is working as a collie and the defacto complainant's relative is a neighbor of the petitioner. On 12.06.2020, the defacto complainant came to his relative home and picked up quarrel with his relative in drunken mode. The petitioner and his friends intervened and mediated the issue. Hence, the defacto complainant lodged the complaint.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

there are 12 previous case pending against the petitioner. Taking into consideration that the petitioner is a habitual offender, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
