Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the relief of issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the entire records relating to the Panel relating to promotion to the post of Senior Veterinary Live Stock Inspectors as on 01.07.2014 issued by the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.46658/E1/2014 dated 16.02.2015 and to quash the above said panel insofar as the inclusion of the 4th respondent is concerned and to consequently direct the respondents to include the petitioner's name against Sl.No.65 in the place of the 4th respondent and grant him all consequential benefits. ORDER
The petitioner is a Live Stock Inspector Grade-I and working at the Veterinary Sub Centre, Thookanambakkam in Cuddalore
District. He questioned the panel relating to promotion to the post of Senior Veterinary Live Stock Inspectors as on 01.07.2014 issued by the 1st respondent insofar as the inclusion of the name of the 4th respondent is concerned.
2. I have heard Mr.P.Rajendran, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, the learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents and also perused the records carefully.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would, during the course of hearing of this writ petition, submit that though the writ petition is for a larger relief, the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation the petitioner dated 25.02.2015 in the light of the letter of the Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry, Cuddalore, dated 01.10.2014 in Ref. No.3283/B1/2014 and the letter of the Regional Director of Animal Husbandry, Cuddalore dated 30.12.2014 in ref. Na.Ka.No.3072/B1/2014 and dispose of the same within a stipulated time. The said statement is recorded.

Considering the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and the fact that the representation of the petitioner requesting to include his name in the panel at an appropriate place for promotion to the post of Senior Veterinary Live Stock Inspector as on 01.07.2014 is pending, this court directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.02.2015 in the light of the recommendations of the Assistant Director of Animal Husbandry, Cuddalore and the Regional Director of Animal Husbandry, Cuddalore referred to above and pass orders on merits on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
