This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 01.05.2016 under the provisions of the SC/ST [Prevention of Atrocities] Act and under the relevant provisions of IPC and investigate the same.

2. Heard the petitioner/party-in-person; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. This Court perused the complaint dated 01.05.2016, in which, it is alleged by the petitioner that the land in question belongs to the petitioner and that, one Muthusamy and Manimaran are attempting to usurp the land and when the petitioner questioned, they had abused the petitioner by his caste name. The petitioner has not even stated the date on which, the alleged incident has taken place. That apart, whether the land is a DC land or not, has to be seen by the Revenue authorities and not by the Police officials.
