Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Kumar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the Member Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, the respondent herein, to rectify the mistake crept in the Land use Map for Block No.11, Village No.140, Thiruvanmiyur, as far as T.S.No.143/2 which is wrongly mentioned as S.No.142, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2015.

As the petitioner has purchased the property in T.S.No.143/2 situated at Thiruvanmiyur Village to an extent of 1 Ground 2004 sq.ft. by way of a registered sale deed dated 08.11.2010, registered as document No.8341 of 2010, this Court, without going into the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2015 along with the available relevant documents and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
