W.P.No.21366 of 2015 is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue patta in respect of petitioner property comprised in Survey No.286/2B admeasuring to an extent of 38 1⁄2 cents situated in Anagaputhur Village, Alandur Taluk, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2013 bearing File No.2272/2013 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

W.P.No.21367 of 2015 is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue patta in respect of petitioner property comprised in Survey No.286/1B1 admeasuring to an extent of 39 cents situated in Anagaputhur Village No.128 in Alandur Taluk, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2013 bearing File No.2273/2013 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

W.P.No.21368 of 2015 is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue patta in respect of petitioner property comprised in Survey No.286/1A1 admeasuring to an extent of 38 1⁄2 cents situated in Anagaputhur Village No.128 in Alandur Taluk, Kanchipuram District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.05.2013 bearing File No.2274/2013 within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

These three writ petitions have been filed seeking a similar prayer for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to issue pattas in respect of the properties comprised in Survey Nos.286/2B admeasuring to an extent of 381⁄2 cents; in Survey No.286/1B1 admeasuring to an extent of 39 cents; in Survey No.286/1A1 admeasuring to an extent of 381⁄2 cents respectively, all situated in Anagaputhur Village, Alandur Taluk, Kanchipuram District, on the ground that when this Court in W.P.Nos.34449 to 34451 of 2012 by order dated 18.3.2013 have allowed the writ petitions holding that the acquisition proceedings stood abated in view of Section 3(2) & 4 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Land (Ceiling and Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999, the request of the petitioners for patta transfer cannot be kept in cold storage.

2. Mr.S.V.Durai Solaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioners that they have already filed representations dated 30.5.2013 to the Tahsildar, Alandur Taluk, for which the petitioners also have been issued with RPT Nos.2272 to 2274 of 2013, this Court, without going to the merits of the matter, hereby directs the respondent to dispose of the representations of the petitioners dated 30.5.2013 on merit and in accordance with law. Needless to mention that the petitioners are also directed to furnish a fresh copy of the representation along with this order within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to enable the respondent to pass appropriate orders within

a period of eight weeks thereafter. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
