ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 379 and 430 IPC in Crime No.147 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner is alleged to have illegally transported 1 unit of sand in Mahindra Bolero Vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-30-H-7831 without any valid licence.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and ignorant person and he is falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the quantity of sand involved is 1 unit of sand. He further submit that one similar case in Crime No.423 of 2020 is pending against the petitioner and hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. In view of the pendency of the similar previous case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
