There is no representation for the Petitioner when the matter is called at 12.55 p.m today.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Second Respondent states that after the filing of the Writ Petitioner, the Petitioner died on 19.08.2021 and his Death Certificate has been produced and an endorsement to that effect has been made in the court record.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. However, it would not preclude the legal representatives of the deceased Petitioner to apply for revival of the Writ Petition in accordance with law. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
