COMMON PRAYER: These Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the pensionary benefits of the petitioner including, Gratuity, surrendered earned leave salary, commutation with interest of 12 percent per annum, from the date of his retirement till the date of realization within a stipulated time fixed by this Court in view of the judgement of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.645 and 686/2025, dated 25.03.2025. For Petitioner(s):

COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the pensionary benefits of the petitioners including, Gratuity, Surrendered Earned Leave Salary, Commutation with interest of 12% per annum, from the date of his retirement till the date of realization within a stipulated time fixed by this Court in light of the judgement of the Hon'ble Division Bench in W.A.No.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent No.1 and Mr.S.Venkatesh for M/s.Ajmal Associates for respondent Nos.2 to 5.

3. In similar circumstances, Writ Petitions filed by similarly placed employees seeking pensionary benefits were allowed and the said order was confirmed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.A.Nos.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025. Since the issues raised in the present Writ Petitions are squarely covered by the directions issued by the Division Bench of this Court,

the respondents shall comply with the directions issued in W.A.Nos.645 and 686 of 2025, dated 25.03.2025, on or before 15.06.2026 and report compliance before this Court on 19.06.2026.

4. With the above direction, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
